DArT of CIMMYT lines 2005

We are pleased to provide DArT data from 275 of the above lines, genotyped on 1,058 markers in the prototype of Triticarte's wheat version 2.5 array, which should contain most of the markers polymorphic in wheat. The overall call rate is 95.1%. As not all markers have yet received a name, please use the CloneID as an unambiguous identifier while mapping is in progress. DArT markers are biallelic dominant markers. Each marker is scored for each sample: 0, 1, or -. The "X" stands for missing data: the marker could not be reliably scored for that sample. The Q value is an estimate of marker quality based on ANOVA, reflecting how well the two phases (Present = 1 vs Absent = 0) of the marker are separated in this sample set. Markers with Q value above 80 are very reliable. Use markers with Q value under 77 with caution since the risk of scoring errors in these markers becomes significant. The call rate is the number of effective scores divided by the number of samples. The PIC value measures the distribution of 0 and 1 scores in the sample set. The highest PIC value is 0.5 and means that the marker is distributed 50-50 in the population analysed. In column C (Chromosome) Triticarte provides a tentative assignment based on 9 well-curated hexaploid wheat genetic maps, available as a downloadable Excel file on the Triticarte web site. They request that if you find any discrepancy in the chromosome assignment based on your knowledge of the material, This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
